演講摘要：
The essay draws inspiration from the philosophical insights of Wilfrid Sellars and navigates through interpretations and reconstructions of the particular-universal structure in Dignāga’s philosophy, covering areas of Two Truths and epistemology. The primary focus is on whether Dignāga's epistemology is foundationalist and vulnerable to Sellars's critique, with a top-down approach to exploring the particular-universal structure through the Apoha theory and referring to primary references such as Pramāṇasamuccaya II and Nyāyamukha. Alternative readings and a reconstructive approach are also considered, shedding light on the subtle interplay between particulars, universals, and cognitive processes within Dignāga's philosophy. This approach invites further exploration into the implications of Dignāga's philosophy for foundationalism and the “Myth of the Given”.
