Numata Program
Funded by the Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai in 2019, the Numata Program was established under the Center for Buddhist Philosophy with an administrative home in the Department of Philosophy, National Chengchi University. During the next five years (2019-2024), the research topic is: “Re-examining the Alleged Debates between Bhāviveka and Dharmapāla.” In addition to organizing workshops and conferences, the program also encourages young scholars to get involved. We will invite promising young scholars and students from Taiwan and from abroad to participate in lecture series, study groups, etc., and to present their research in the workshop.
